Probably M. C. Escher, or at least someone influenced by his work.

Certainly not Escher but more like Salvador Dali.

 

You may be right: I just noticed the title of the pic is "Time", which does hint of Dali.

 

Went part way through some of the others listed.
All are pretty much by the same mind.
All I saw were just as "interesting".
Going forward about 8-9 anyway.

 

Dali was my first guess but I can't find it among his other stuff. Thanks for the reply.

I think it was made with a special art program i.e. Blender or Daz or the like... I noticed it was from NVIDIA site. They have software for producing amazing artworks...that is why the uploads to share what a person has made are on their site [NVIDIA] for desktop enhancements.
I make desktop artwork myself as you see on the link at the bottom of my post
So this pic was prolly made by an artist who uses different stock photos and manipulated to make this amazing pic. I know it was not done by a famous artist...lol

Shelagh, thanks for your helpful post. I'm pretty sure you are right. I really like your stuff (especially micro-organism*) and have downloaded the 4 on your deviant art page as wallpaper.
