Can Find Free Fun Times...

I'm always wary of anything that's free AND fun time...so always check it out first.

Found this has paid off lately from a last New Year's Eve invite to an event. Got free tickets (ended up giving them away to keep company with a sick friend on the night ).

Anyway, new invites kept up, so I "tested the waters" accepted one to a free Cafe opening which had a show. Asked and received nine free tickets, ended up with front row seats and discounted meals and drinks! Everyone had an absolute ball! Surprise!

Free tickets still coming, so I'm still organising free outings for groups of friends - entries are free to shows (big savings) and discounted drinks and food still on - why not!

Reckon it's the free advertising. Met some great new artists at these venues so seems to work both ways. Places get the numbers, word gets around and artists have full rooms.

 

When I was in the the US Navy about 10 of us got free tickets to a Neil Diamond concert somewhere in the Hampton, Virginia area. Our surprise when we got there, our seats were in the center of the -BACK- of the venue.

To Neil Diamond's credit, He turned our way a few times and acknowledged us as regulars.

 

Nice. Either way, good saving and the star certainly considered his audience too! Free tickets to Neil Diamond show would have been excellent.

Got some more freebies...not said anything to anyone yet until I can sort a nice mix of people to invite. I mainly enjoy testing a mix of friends from different groups. Sometimes it works...sometimes it clashes

Have to be selective to ensure one group doesn't get wind of the outings...don't want to offend anyone I don't invite.
