can i change skin of k-lite codec player thingy?!!!

i've downloaded k-lite mega codec pack and i hate the skin of the player. its rubbish! the codec pack is great though and it plays everything (up to now) any ideas guys???

 

If you are talking about Media Player Classic that comes with the K-Lite packs, no, it's not skinnable.

 

yes thats what i mean. thanks for that. ok i maybe being stupid here but if the codec pack is working ok can i uninstall the media classic player and make wmp the default?

 

The main advantage of Media Player Classic is it will play Real Player and Quick Time files without having to install two of the most bloated players out there. You can make Windows Media Player the default player for any media type it supports and the codecs won't be affected. Real Player and Quick Time formats being two it does not support, you'd need an alternate player, so you might not want to uninstall it. Skinning a media player is one of the main reasons they slow down.
