Can I convert MP3 to midi?

I am trying to put sound on my website and I read that with a simple html edit, "<embed src="musicfile.wav" autostart="true" loop="false"> and the right sound file, "Step 1. Find a music or sound file that you'd like to use. Midi (.mid) is a good sound format to use because these files are generally smaller and load quickly." I could make the sound load with the page. When I tried a flash file the sound was all garbled and .wav files didn't play at all so I was trying to find a software that would convert MP3 to midi but I am having a hard time. Can anyone help? What I would really like is for my music to start when the first page loads and continue uninterrupted as each page is browsed but I don't know if that is possible. Can anyone help?

EDIT- I was browsing around at the mymusictools site and found what looked like a cool DVD/AVI video player. I went to download it and my antivirus app went off. It caught a 'drive by' trojan dropper.... be careful! If you want to try the program in that article, do NOT download it from that site. Use the widisoft link.
