Can I mix and Match memory?

    Can I use two different company brand 512 sticks? Same pin and pc3200 but I want a different brand than the ones I already have.

    Also, what is the fastest 512 ram memory out there right now? fastest pc3200 that is.

    I want to put in the two fastest 512's I can find.

    the fastest PC3200 would be dual channel w/ 2-2-2-5 timings .. but you need to buy those in pairs and your mobo has to support dual channel

    but generally speaking, all PC3200 are the same speed:p

    From what I have seen superfast memory isnt worth the extra money 1-5% in real world apps not sandra,pcmark and the like and you can easily pay double the price for that small percentage increase,the money can be spent better elsewhere. :confused:
