I have stuff in my old computer that i want to move to a new comp. There is FrontPage 2000, Microsoft Word 2000 and Adobe Photoshop in my old comp. They were there since the computer was bought and so they didn't come in a CD. Now since i hav a new comp, i want to move or copy or whateva those stuff in there. I have a USB storage device and i've tried to move the programs with it. Seems like i'm transferring the wrong files or sumthing but it doesn't work...

Anyone can help? Or is it impossible?

I hope i'm posting at the right place...

    Peace out..

No you can't unless you have the disk. The files you would need are the setup files and those are going to be on the disk.

Why don't you just install your old hard drive as a slave drive in your new PC. That way you can continue to use all your old programs. Bazza

Bazza.. registry entries won't be there to allow this to happen.

Neo.. There is a the file mover wizard with Windows XP that will move office from the old pc to the new pc.

Install the old hard drive as a slave, and boot to it when you want to use those programmes. Assuming you have a working OS on it?

It's not a perfect answer, but it beats buying it all again.

Thanks Mr P. That's what I meant but didn't explain it properly. I have W98SE on 2 hard drives with Windows on both so can use some progs on D, not installed on C. Bazza
