Can I restore items that have been deleted from the recycle bin???

I have a very frustrating request. My boyfriend went and deleted just about everything on our computer last night, ALL of my documents that I had, mind you. Then cleared the recycling bin.
I NEED that folder back!!!
Not only did it have all my important files for school/work, but also a book I was in the middle of writing and had no way of transfering onto my laptop yet.

I already tried system restore to before a point he did that last night, but as I figured it didnt change any documentation and the files are still missing.

God, please if someone can help me get those files back, tell me.

It may not get everything back, but it worth a shot.

 

Did you back up your system recently? If not I can't think of anything to do to get all that back from a physchal deletion.

 

The recovery software I posted should be able to do this.

 

does that read NTFS? just wondering.

 

Thank you... the first program got most of it. Some files were corrupted though. This link you gave me... the program keeps giving me errors, saying it cant find the disk.

 

Sounds like it doesn't read NTFS..
But I'm glad the first program worked for the most part.
