Can I Share My Ms Windows 7 Home Premium?

    Hi. I have a friend who is also running the above OS. He needs to have a reimage or reformat. I had a original disc copy that I ordered but cannot find it. He does not have a backup drive. Is there a way I can use my OS off my computer and then get his Key and reformat for him?

    You can't do this.
    Download the Windows 7 ISO, burn it to a DVD, and then do a repair of your friend's Windows 7 installation.
    Ensure the downloaded and installed versions are the same and enter the original product key when prompted.

    As Eldon said, you can't take the OS from your drive and use it on your friend's computer (even if you cloned your drive to his). It wouldn't activate.
