Can I trash this folder?

This appeared a couple of weeks ago & I don't know what it is or if I can safely delete it.
I guess it's empty, but the faded folder color is weird to me.
If I screwed up the picture, the folder is titled " ~cevts_001_tmp.dir ".

It looks like one of those temporary rubbish directories that haven't deleted themselves, as happens on Windows occasionally.

You could uncheck the 'hidden' attribute and have a look at what is in the directory, just to make sure, but I can tell you it's more than likely just trash.
