I have an AMD athlon 64 processor with 512 MB ddr ram and a nvidia geforce fx 5200 ultra video card. I can watch a video on my tv-out fine but if i minimize the player or start a game on my monitor the tv-out freezes. Can I watch both or do I need 2 video cards?

you don't need two video cards ... just don't minimize the player ... although your game will probably suffer a performance hit

Hmm it shouldnt freeze I had a FX5200 non ultra a while back and was able to play a game and have it show on my TV without any problems. Now I have a Radeon 9500Pro and do the same thing without any problems. Maybe you need different drivers if its freezing.
