Can not install/add CCLeanerEnhancer ?

Thanks guys...I'm getting this error when I try to add CCleaner Enhancer to my new CCleaner on my Win 7 Pro 64 bit PC:

CCleaner.jpg shows error message when trying to isntall CCleanerEnhancer.exe

CCleaner is installed and seems to be running OK ?

Any ideas ?

ccsetup300.exe (installed and system restarted and used/ran)

CCleanerEnhancer.exe (gives above jpg error attached)

The author is working on a fix.

I had the very same problem but that is fixed now. Note my signature, NOT x64.

 

Far better than that "enhancer" is to use the original winapp2.ini file (http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=29438) that the author has stolen to make his application.

 

Hi all, I've just run the CCleaner Enhanced again but I'm still getting the same error on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit OS laptop.
The latest CCleaner is working OK, but CCleaner Enhanced thinks that CCleaner isn't installed. :cry

Again, why use that troublesome "enhancer" when you can use the original winapp2.ini file from the Piriform forum?

That "enhancer" was a bad idea from the start, badly thought through, and badly executed. On top of all it "works" with stolen data, without permission from Piriform.

Go to the Piriform CCleaner forum (sorry, I cannot access it from my current IP address, so I cannot give you the exact URL), then find the sticky topic that has 'winapp2.ini' in the topic.

Open it, and download winapp2.ini into your Program Files\CCleaner folder. (It may be in zipped format, if so, unzip it into the target folder.)

You will see CCleaner much enlarged.
