can not load cds on my computer

    i keep getting this message of numbers and it is driving me crazy (0xc0000006) how can i fix this?

    Hi

    Have you checked that the cables to this drive are securely plugged in as at times they can become loose, if a laptop this is much harder to check.

    What Windows version you using? (helps to know for steps in fixing issues if a Windows problem)

    Was their any other information with this error, as much of the error code in full can help, especially if it mentions a file name?

    Could go into Device Manager and click DVD?CDROM drive and right click and choose Uninstall your drive, then reboot and Windows re-loads the drivers.

    Could also be the Upper and Lower Filters causing the issue and help here on that http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=145532
