I have tried everything so am resorting to those in the know on these boards. I have disabled Nortons pers firewall-that did not help. I got Norton updates and rebooted and that worked for a second-I got mail at least. I am still trying to locate a patch that Norton may have as I know that they discovered this (according to direcway) several days ago. This is so frustrating! Anyone else have this problem? My IE works fine and I can sign in to get my mail on direcway but I do not feel I am getting all of them as customers say they have emailed me and I never reply... Help please!

    Dollfaces:
I also have the DirecWay 6000, and was running Nortons Internet Security on windows xp service pack 2. I am wondering what version of Norton do you run? Is it the newest one 2005? If so alot of people are complaining about that version. I myself finally took Norton off my computer, and took the advise of some smart people here at major geeks, and now run Avast AntiVirus (free addition) and Zone Alarm (again the free addition) Avast seems to cash viruses very well for me, and zone alarm does a good job also. I'm not sure if the techs at DirecWay are leading you in the right direction blameing Norton, seems the techs there make alot of mistakes anymore. There's a site called test my that has a DirecWay forum there that you may be able to get a little more information and help on this. www.testmy.net then look at the top where it says forum. You will have to setup an account there to be able to post, but it's free like this site.It also has some GREAT speed tests there to see what you are getting for uploads and downloads on all high speed connections. Hope this will help you some.

Thanks YooperLady-its nice to know that this is not isolated or just me. I will definitely check out the direcway forum. I really hate to loose Norton-it has been absolutely trouble free until this. I tend to blame direcway (more from pers. experience) before I accuse Norton. I appreciated your reply a great deal!
