Can only connect to the Internet in Safe mode

Recently i was attached by trojans and i installed PC doctor and removed most of the them. I also installed HiJack This and Trojan Remover and they found about 5 more backdoor trojans. I then installed Norton 2007 because AVG 7 was not blocking any attacks from the NET as it is not a firewall program. Anyway, i can only connect to the internet in Safe Mode with Networking and sometimes just for 10 minutes and then the connection will be lost. In normal mode i can only download files using Ares Ultra and download updates but cannot access the web. Please Help
