Can only run in safe mode

Hi guys,

I am a newbie, but wish to say thank you for all your help on previsou issues, as I have followed other user's problems through these threads and were able to "fix" them.

Anyways, I'm at a point where I think my laptop is in serious trouble. XP loads up and desktop appears, but I cannot start any application whatsoever although my cursor can move on the desktop. The start menu does not open, and I cannot open the task manager.

About 6 months ago I noticed that I received a hack or virus if somekind... when I run adaware it said my "kernel - changed", "hosts-changed", etc....

I went through you entire malware and xp clean-up posts without cheating. I used Ccleaner, Smartdefrag, ComboFox, etc etc etc. The only 2 things that didn't work are new version of Java and SuperAntiSpyware because "the system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation"

is your pc connected to a network or were you blocked from installing this software because you did not log on your computer as an administrator

I log in as administrator. I also checked my user account settings through the control panel to ensure that I'm a "computer administrator" so I have no clue why the message comes up. I'm on a home network with only a PC and laptop connected.... these log file are on my laptop.

Yes, I'm in safe mode now with networking. It's the only way I can use this laptop. I've run all the malware aps asked in the read-me via safemode as I can't do anything at all normally.

I think you should make a post in Malware section since you have done the Read and Run Me. They can help you with the Java and SuperAntiSpyware problems and begin looking at your logs.
