First, I've been interested in buying a PC for the Next Gen games. Can anyone check this build to see if everything is compatible, or if I missed something, and if it will all work on my 500W PSU?

The whole setup will cost me, after S&H (and a few little things), will cost me...

    Grand Total: $1,136.97

Now, I have a few questions here:

1.) Should I go for it?

    or

2.) Is there any parts I can buy instead that are cheaper, but the exact same thing?

I do know that I want the 8800GTS and Intel e6600 in the build. Anything else I can work with.

    Thanks :)

first and foremost, that PSU will in now way run that rig. its got a single 12v rail with only 18A on it...factor in a nice PSU into your budget, its the foundation of ur system. check out an OCZ or a Zalman. they are kinda pricey as are most high end PSUs but you need a nice one to power that rig

for heatsinks, it doesnt get much better than this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223
its only a few $ more but its definitely worth it

im not sure if that card will fit in the case, those things are HUGE! It might be fine though

ive got that keyboard, now i hate to use anything lesser lol. its amazing, i love it

if it were me a may check out some different motherboards but that one doesnt look bad.

ill give it the OK ;)
