Can someone help me find my printer on my network?

I recently had to replace my old router with a Netgear RangeMax. Had a home network set up with a desktop and 3 laptops on it. Before the switch they could all access the printer on the network. It is on the desktop. THis was a wireless network except for the desktop. After installing the new router, we all have internet access, but no printer. I followed the directions about making the printer "sharing". No luck. I ran the network wizard, no luck. In fact, can't find the names of the computers on the workgroup. I've read just about everything on ezlan.net (not that I understood it all). I can ping the laptops from the main computer, but not the other way. I've turned off the firewall. I don't know what to do to get my printer on the network. Or to get the laptops to find the printer. I suspect I'm not typing in the address correctly, but don't know what to do. I didn't have this trouble the firs t time. I just followe the "add a printer" directions and there it was. They all run on XP pro. Can someone please please please help me.:cry

 

Can you ping the printer since it is on the network?

 

Try angry IP scanner - it will scan the network and show you were everything is. You have a hand under the printer icon "holding up the printer" so you know it is shared right? All PCs are in the same workgroup?
The computers all have the same netmask? 255.255.255.0 maybe?
