What you want to do is called "Overclocking"

Also, you may want to follow the instructions in this post for software speed boosts.

None of the software listed in your poll is relevant - those are *mostly* security applications.

 

You'd be lucky to get a %20 increase if you overclocked depending on your RAM and mobo. I think a better thing to look at is why do you want a faster processor, perhaps you don't have enough memory? Since you posted security apps in your poll, perhaps you should run some scans to see if you have garbage slowing you down. Did this just start? What OS are you running? You gave us precious little to work with along with the confusion.

im running windows xp 256ram proccesor733mh i run avg virus and system suite professional 7 . the reason i want to speed up my system is because my pages open slow and there is nothing wrong with my system with spyware and no viruses nothing wrong with the registry as far as i know i have run just about the best fix it utilities and software you can get for free i just like a smooth running system so if you can help me make my pc faster let me know
