Can someone help

I have a windows 7 Sony laptop series vpcec25fx. I bought it about 3 years ago. Just yesterday my computer shut off by itself and it won't reboot. The Sony logo comes on but it then enters a black screen and a dashed line runs an empty sequence for three lines until it stops and keeps bleeping. I've tried resetting my bios from the menu as well as unplugging the bios battery but nothing has changed. Don't know what else to do

I HOPE your hard drive is not gone.
What do you need to do?
1. try to boot from cd, using your windows cd, recovery consul, check disk your hard disk
2. If that won't work, try to boot from CD and use a recovery CD (you can find them on-line) and check disk your hard disk
3. Take bios batery away and discconnect normal battery as well for 5 hours, then try to recconnect
