Can SYGATE prevent email attachments?

Hi:

After I installed Sygate firewall, email attachments I RECEIVE began to randomly disappear. What I mean is, now, sometimes they attach and sometimes when I click on attachment, it says "Not Found". The attachments that aren't coming through are always either graphics or fonts. I use Incredimail and haven't had this problem until I began using Sygate. At the same time, I installed AVAST. Anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

It's much more likely to be Avast than Sygate.

 

I am using Incredimail for my email browser, so does this link apply? Not a programmer here, so it looks to me like the link refers to I.E. How can I configure Avast or Sygate to correct the problem, if one of them is guilty?
