Can the cpu pins be bent back into place?

I found a computer in the dumpster outside to day. Still not sure which mother board it is? But I have found out which cpu it is. Inter 800 Mhz Fsb P4 3 Ghz with a half G of 400 DDR in it. There are four pins bent on the cpu, which is why who ever thought it out, and they didn't know, or think about the RAM.

So my Q's is, can I bend the pins? I just wondered, and I don't have any thing to lose.....wobbles

man, i've gone dumpster diving behing my university's Computer Engineering building... but the best i've found are some old beige monitors and microphones and old drives... you give me hope!

 

some plastic q-tips have a very small hollow core.
I have used them before but you have to be careful.
