Can The Cursor Be Darkened In Win 10?

Lots of posts online about modifying mouse pointer and touch-pad settings, but I could find nothing to darken the cursor when it is blinking, say, in a search field or among text, when being less than the thickness of a hair it is difficult to see (on a high res laptop screen). Evidently Microsoft developers have phenomenal vision. Any way to make the blinking cursor darker, like bold type?

Thanks for your kind response. I already tried those steps: either the instructions are wanting or I am overlooking something. I'm OK with the mouse pointer: it's the blinking cursor that is a problem for me. Why folks want to change the mouse pointer and not the cursor that I estimate is a ridiculous 0.5 pt size is beyond me.

When the cursor blinks among text on a high res screen, it is virtually invisible. If the Ease of Access window includes an option to darken or thicken the cursor, I'd be mighty grateful for someone to point out where the option is located.
