Can You Delete Everything Regcleaner Shows?

Hey all,

Using the program RegCleaner, can you safely delete everything it shows? I used one program once to clean out the registry, but it both tells you to be careful from the start and it tells you specifically (when you click on a registry entry it found that's "dead") that it's still associated to something. (I forget the name of the program, though.

Wow! You can delete the DLLs also?

 

typically they are dll's that are not associated with any programs that are installed. If you REALLY want to, you should make sure that the dlls are not in paths in which you know that programs that you need, exist.

Starkman See, that's what I'm saying. There's "dead" registry links (just like the DLLs) that I know are refering to a program I still have; that's why I ask if one can just delete everything RegCleaner finds. Yeah, sure, the registry entries themselves may be dead, but the programs I still have on my computer aren't, and that's what prompted my initial question. I suppose, then, the same care must be given to DLLs (and all the other different kinds of entries) RegCleaner finds!
