Can you help me fix my shortcuts?

    I have a dozen or so shortcuts to various websites on my desktop. I must have monkeyed araound with something that changed settings because now when I click on them, instead of opening a window to that page, it opens up a box that displays that button's properties. I'm not sure what I did that changed this so I don't know how to change it back.

    I have an HP Pavilion 7920 with a Celeron processor running Windows ME and 512 MB RAM. 27GB hard-drive is half-full but I have a 186GB external drive that holds a back-up of this drive plus 1000's of mp3s.

    Can anyone help me? Thanks! :confused:
