can you play a dvd on 2 computer screens?

title says it i want to play my computer games and dvds on both my computer screens how do i do this or can it not be done

 

I know ATI cards have two VGA connector on their cards so yes it is possible
you will have to search wich ATI cards have two VGA connector somebody
with those cards will tell you witch one for me i have a Nvidia cards so i don't
knows....

 

i have two moniter connected but the players i have wont do it cause of some weird stuff i dont understand u no the 0x9787581648 type of stuff

 

I'd go into the advanced settings on your videocard and see if it does support dual monitors.

 

ALLRIGHT listen I HAVE 2 MONITERS it is a nvidia 5900se-discontinued, the card has two moniter plugs i have it setup in the advanced settings as a dualscreen view-(same as a horizontal span only taskbar isnt extended to next screen)this isnt a question of hardware setup or settings it is a question of is there a dvd player program that supports two screen

 

Microsoft has one that shows the controls on one screen and plays the video on the other. It is unsupported by them, and can be found on the downloads section of Windowsmedia.com

 

I have a feeling Power DVD Player does this, as does Interactual Player (free) but don't quote me on this....

 

I believe Nvidia has a feature called Cloneview which allows the same desktop to be displayed on two monitors simultaneously, as opposed to extending the desktop to the second monitor. Have you tried that?

 

yeah ive tried that and this time it said it wont do it cause of some copyright b s so i dont no what the truth about it is
