Can you solve this?

Alright, so basically, I've sought out help for this problem everywhere, and nobody seems to be able to fix it.

Basically, I used to have a time monitoring program called KidsWatch on our family computer.

The program would log the user off at a predetermined time, or once an allotted amount of time had passed.

Long story short, the program's trial ran out, and I uninstalled it.

However, now, instead of logging out the user for whom it was monitoring at the predetermined time, they simply lose internet.

This is very strange, because, the program should not be on the computer anymore, and it is not running in processes or anything, and yet the internet(and internet only) runs out.

Can anyone help? (Any help is appreciated, thanks)

Edit : Sorry if I posted in the wrong section, I was debating whether or not to post in the Networking section or this, but I figured since it's a program that is causing the problem, I'd post here. Sorry if it's determined wrong.

Hello Thall and welcome to Major Geeks.

Yes it sounds like a software setting issue.

Could be due to Windows permissions - you didn't state your version.
Could also be due to an ISP seting some interfaces can be set like you describe.
Could also be left over setttings form you program as you suspect. Did you uninstall it?

Download CcCleaner and run the registry scanner. This may remove settings that were not uninstalled.

Hello Thall, and welcome to MG :wave Since you uninstalled the program, follow studiot's suggestion:

Download CcCleaner and run the registry scanner. This may remove settings that were not uninstalled.

Even tho you "uninstalled" it, there may still be some residuals left behind, (kind of like oil.... always leaves something behind, and hard to clean up!! :-D) and this will clear them out... ;) Good Luck ;)

Have you done a thorough search for any leftover traces? Did you run the registry portion of CCleaner? We could look at your registry keys and other items for you if you wish to download and run MGTools from the malware forum's READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    from their website

    Code:
If you do not renew the annual subscription all of the time management features
    continue to function.
So it may not uninstall the time management features either
