Hello. I've downloaded IrfanView........heard nothing but good things about it. Wanted to find out about the extra plug ins and tried going to the home page at irfanview.com yesterday and today. I keep getting a "Cannot find server error". I have tried changing my settings and that hasn't helped, even changing my connection options hasen't helped. Could the site be that busy or is he just having trouble? Any one else having trouble going to the site? Thanks.

    Windows XP (Home)
    IE6

x-man, sounds like you have Options > Properties > Viewing > Fullscreen/Slideshow options set to "Stretch all images/movies to screen"

Mine is at "Fit to screen (large images only)"

Yeah, I just tried all those options and couldn't duplicate what you described... Strange

    Just another notion x-f:
You always stand a better chance of getting ADJUSTMENTS to an image to HOLD if you 1) save it with a new name, instead of just overwriting the old file, and if that doesn't hold the changes, you can absolutely positively lock your choices in if you 2) save in a different FORMAT with a new name (i.e., save a gif as a jpg). (And if that format isn't good for your use, then re-convert to the old format, with a NEW NAME again.) Try it, It shouldn't fail you. Irfan has been rock solid software for years, and just keeps getting smarter.
