Cannot access gmail in IE8 in XP

I cannot access my gmail account even after doing everything indicated to fix it. It will open in other browsers. Why is this happening?

 

If you start IE with no add-ons does it work? If it does, you will have to disable the add-on(s) that are causing the trouble.

Try adding

to trusted sites in IE.

Internet options>Security

If that does not work, try resetting IE. Backup all of your favorites first.
