    Hi,

I'm trying to restore my XP operating system on my c:drive using Ghost 9.0, but I cannot boot from the "bootable" Ghost CD. Changed CMOS to boot from CDROM. Maybe it's because I have SATA hard drives? Please advise.

    Thanks,

Here what you can do go to www.bootdisk.com and download a win98SE boot
disk uses the disk to boot don't forget to go CMOS to boot from 3 1/2 disk first.

And then take anothers 3 1/2 disk and copy only GHOSTPE.EXE and from there you would be capable restoring the .GHO image.....

I have try it a few times and it work perfectly....

    Hope this help...

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. Actually the problem was that XP CD and Ghost 9.0 CD did not like my USB keyboard and mouse.

    Thanks,
    Joe

PS If I tried your bootable floppy, would I then be able to insert any Application CD? I want to create a bootable CD with serveral diagnostic programs.

The answer is yes just make sure to take the options with the cd-rom.
