Cannot connect to Internet after running Spyware Prog.

    We just downloaded and ran WebRoot Spy Sweeper on our 2nd computer downstairs. Now, we can't get on the Internet!!! :rolleyes: I called our ISP's help line and they walked me through all the help that they could, then finally after we tried everything they said that the program probably got rid of something that had attached itself to our TCP/IP connection (or something like that). Can anybody help? I thought maybe I could post the SpySweeper log here for y'all to take a look at, but since that comp cannot get on the 'Net, I cannot email it to this computer. PLEASE help! Thanks in advance!

    You did not tell us your OS! This should always be included in a message.

    So I will assume it is WinXP. You probably have a broken LSP chain. Try downloading and running this.http://www.acrodata.com/WinsockXPFix.zip

    Obviously you need to download it on your working PC and get it copied to the non-working PC (using a floppy or CD-R).
