Cannot connect to internet

    I recently removed some malware and now I cannot connect to the internet. When I try to repair the connection, I get the message "Failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection" Any ideas?

    If its xp sp2 two or later trying running netsh winsock reset at a command prompt to reset the tcp/ip properties. Good luck!
