    Greetings,

I can not connect to the internet after 3 days and probably 12-16 hours of trying. I recently had malware install on the computer, Stongvault to be specific. I uninstalled all the associated files, deleted the content from the program files directory, and then did a search for anything related to stongvault. I believe I have gotten rid of the malware, however, now I cannot connect online. It told me DHCP Error 1068. Among the many things I tried, I ended up deleting the line in the registry requiring other services to start before DHCP, and now DHCP starts. I can not however get AFD.sys to show up in the services. I've manually entered it into regedit in order to register it, and I verified that AFD.sys is indeed present in the system32\drivers folder. I've also tried driver updates and the like for the motherboard, as everything is onboard except for the graphics card on this machine. Any help would be appreciated.

I am running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, on an EVGA 790i FTW SLI motherboard.

I should also note, I tried to use system retore and it gave me an error and would not restore to either of the 3 dates I tried to restore to.
