Cannot connect to the internet w/ ie

After much work by Forum supporter he has suggested I try here.
My Internet Explorer and Firefox will not connect to the internet after removing a virus.
When I try to reinstall Internet Explorer I get Feeds Synchronization or Bootstrap errors????
I also cannot run my MSN IM as it cannot connect.
I running XP-3

Go into Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab, and click LAN settings button. Make sure your proxy server settings are either shut off (if you don't use a proxy) or set correctly (if you do use a proxy). Chances are the virus changed it to 127.0.0.1.

 

Lan settings are ALL blank

 

Hello I am having sort of the same problem but I do have access to the web except that when I go to type something to google, my bank or any other pages, it actually gives me a message, "the internet explorer stopped working....windows is looking for the solution" and then it recovers the tab but the problem persist. Does anyone knows how can I fix this problem, please? Thanks:cry

Hey guys I don't know what I did but I did follow the suggestion in the last post and heck when I couldn't load windows suport and download it finally did. So I clicked on FIX-IT and I'm back online!
