This is my work laptop, which usually connects to the wifi network "BenFranklin_Private". Since Monday I can connect but have no internet access on that network. We have a Dell SonicWall Router that also runs a public wifi network "BenFranklin Free Wifi". I can connect to that network with internet access no problem. I can also connect to my android phone's wireless hotspot with internet. My phone and ipad are able to connect to the "BenFranklin_Private" network with no issues.

I ran all of the read/run me first thread and have attached the logs. I made a mistake on AdwCleaner and removed the stuff it found (sorry). I also had an issue with MGTools. I got an error involving Process Dll.exe so I installed the .NET framework but still got the same error so I just pushed okay to continue. I've attached a screenshot of the error. As of now, I still can't access the internet thru the private network.

Please have Hitman remove all it found.

Reboot and rescan with Hitman and attach the new log.

For MGtools, did you save MGtools.exe to C:\MGtools.exe as requested. It must be save to the root folder of your Windows boot drive. Do not save it anywhere else and do not attempt to Run or Open it from the download link. You must save it to your PC. Please try again and make sure you follow the instructions exactly. If you get any error messages, see if it is one of the ones that are explained on the download page. If the error is not on the download page, give us the exact word for word message.

Please click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the below commands at the command prompt each followed by the enter key. The bold black are commands. The red is merely informational.

cd \MGtools <-- this changes to the MGtools folder and the prompt should change to C:\MGtools>
GetRunKey <-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
ShowNew <-- this will try to run all another scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.

I re-ran HitmanPro and removed all it found. I have attached the new log. I am now able to connect to the private network with internet access!

Sorry I wasn't very clear before. I did follow the instructions for MGtools I just didn't realize the log file got cut off because of the five attachment limit. I did install and run it from C:\MGtools.exe My error was similar to but not exactly Error Message Type #4 (in that it involved "Process Dll.exe") so I did post a screenshot of the exact error message in post #2. I also did install the .NET framework like the instructions said and run it again but got the same message. I attached the original MGtools log file.

I ran "GetRunKey" and got this error message:

    Unsupported 16-Bit Application
The program or feature "\??\C:\MGTools\Itime.exe" cannot start or run due incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

Then a UAC window repeatedly popped up and repeatedly asked if I wanted to let the registry editor make changes to the computer.

I ran "ShowNew" and got the same exact errors as above. So maybe I missed something? If that's the case, sorry in advance

The ability to get on your network is the important thing.....:)

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
