Hi there, I have recently got repaired my pc which had previously been infected by a virus (don't know what but an IT technician got rid of it). I basically got back the pc with no software, just the operating system (XP Home). I used my existing D-Link networking adapter, installed the software and I found available networks, but can't connect to my home network.

As I was intending to install XP Pro on the pc anyway, I did so but the same problem exists. After reading a few forums I have updated some drivers, and ran the cmd's ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew and I keep on getting back an error message which states the media card is disconnected :confused. The ipconfig/ all cmd gives me the following results:

    C:\Documents and Settings\e>IPconfig/all

I have read some previous posts but can't find the solution, please help. Thanks in advance.
