Cannot Delete Program

I am trying to delete 'Nokia PC Suite'. I believe it is a program that transfers videos and pictures and ringtones onto a Nokia Mobile. My brother no longer has that phone and therefore the program is not needed. I tried uninstalling it through the start menu, through the 'Add/Remove' application, and even tried just deleting the Folder containing the program and all its files. To no avail it did not work. I only get a error message when I try deleting the folder, it reads something like a '.dll' is being used or is copy writed. How would I go about stopping this '.dll'. I looked in the processes and I couldn't find anything that shouldn't be running. Any ideas as to what I should do to get rid of the application. I just tried running the program and it did not work, just to add.

 

If you want to manually delete it (which honestly, is probably a bad idea), you can boot into safe mode. To do so, please do the following:

1. Restart your computer
2. Hit F8 (despite any beeping) until you are presented with the boot options menu.
3. Select 'Safe Mode'
4. Press enter

Now, windows will load with a minimum number of drivers and programs. Hopefully, this will stop the program from locking the file, allowing you to delete it.

However, you are probably better off using CCleaner to clean. Open the program, and switch to the 'Tools' section. Here, you can uninstall programs much like 'Add/Remove Programs', but it gives you the option of deleting the entry should it prove stubborn.
