cannot delete trojan

My norton anti-virus software detected that i'm infected with a trojan.. Trojan.Favadd to be exact. and it cannot be repaired or something like that.. i went to re-scan my com like 2 times(live update too) but there's nothing already.. so the problem is i cant find the trojan to delete it!! btw i heard some anti-virus software can detect viruses on the web even though its not in your com, but im quite sure it says im INFECTED with it. Can someone help..

Heh, try MajorGeeks malware removal thread. It is very thorough. I also recommend that you use thier thread for protecting yourself from malware. Its all very useful.

I think what happened is that Norton quarantined the file.
Norton doesn't always allow for the deletion, but if it's in
quarantine then it is nothing to worry about.
