Cannot find Inetwh32.dll what happened to it?

Is that .dll damaged or something?

 

I looked in my System32 folder.. and inetwh32.dll wasn't there!

Then a couple minutes later a window popped up saying "Microsoft Help encountered a problem and needed to close" At least I think it said Microsoft Help. I knew I should have taken a screenshot! But I wasn't even using Microsoft help, so I don't know why that even happened.

you might have deleted it on accident when u had uninstalled something manually. It could have also been removed if it was infected with a virus. I know my anti-virus program will delete the file out of the system if it cant heal it. Try looking in your recycle bin too. Hopefully this might help

I did some checking and the Inetwh32.dll file is used for online help or support, here is one article on it, does it sound familiar?

Click on Help under HostExplorer returns the following error:
Cannot find or load the file lnetwh32.dll. This file should be copied to C:\Windows\System or a directory in your path. An error exists in the help file. Contact your application vendor for an updated help file. (1024)

RESOLUTION:

Inetwh32.dll can be found under c:\exceed.nt\nls which needs to be copied under c:\winnt\system32 for WinNT/2000 or c:\win95\system for Win95/98

Cause: Some of the help files on the CD have URL links. For these links to work, the help system requires the inetwh32.dll file. This error occurs if the help files are viewed from the CD before installation. The extensions install this file, so the error will not occur after installation.
