Cannot get CGI:IRC to work.

I'm not 100% sure this is the correct place to ask for help, so sorry if it is not.


Ok, I have spent some time trying to get this to work. (http://cgiirc.sourceforge.net/) It is pretty F***ing complicated. It is written in perl, c++, Java, php and something else I think. I got it all like uploaded and stuff except it just wont connect. It all looks right but when i goto connect it just does'nt connect. I kept switching stuff around but getting it not to connect was the best I could do. I looked through the FAQ section of that site but found out thier fix didn't fix it for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
