Cannot get F.E.A.R. 1.08 Patch to Work

    I cannot update to the 1.08 patch. I am running the free version of F.E.A.R. When I try to update using ANY of the patches shown on sierra.com I get the error shown in the screenshot here:

    I've tried the one for the full version (on accident), the one for F.E.A.R. Combat, and a update greater than 500MB that was supposed to be able to upgrade any version. I would really appreciate any help or a fix for this!
