Cannot get my computer desktop fixed ( TV as monitor )

Hey guys, so I just switched to a 32" 720p TV screen for my monitor, I pugged the hdmi in from the backside of the 550 ti , and everthing was fine, I was messing around with the color settings etc, I changed from RGB to Ycbcr444 I think and I messed around with a few other things, I turned off my TV to clean it, when i pressed power on the TV again, I get a message that says

"" Tv does not support incoming format blah blah "" But the problem I am having is, I cannot access the Nview settings from safemode to FIX the settings, so without having a desktop to change these settings, and the TV not displaying a picture untill I do make the change, Im between a rock and a hard place.

How can I change the settings without being able to see the screen since it wont show a picture? I Can access safe mode but like I said It wont let me access the Nview properties in safemode to change the format so when it boots it will be ok.

 

Still having no luck figuring this out.

Does the TV have a VGA connector? If so, you might try a VGA hookup until you can get the problem resolved. Also, what's the make and model # of your machine (please include any Service Tag #s), and what operating system version and Service Pack # are you using?

Another thought: you stated that you just switched to your present TV - have you tried the old one to access the nView control panel? Or do you have an old monitor that you could use for troubleshooting purposes?

 

Check the on-screen menu on your TV. Some models have an option to reset everything to factory defaults. If yours has it it would be worth a try.
