Hi, after beginning to deal with a spyware issue (a whole other problem to deal with) my Acer laptop crashed.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. I was downloading Windows Updates at the time, and just looking at a few forum's pages trying to figure out the spyware issue when it just blue screened. It won't let me boot into safe mode. I ran Acer's startup repair, it took awhile, rebooted and didn't fix anything. I tried it again and it said it could not repair anything.

    The blue screen error is:

    STOP 0x0000007E

    (0xC0000005, 0x82083673, 0x8B3AF650, 0x8B3AF34C)

    Collecting data for crash dump...
    Initializing disk for crash dump...

This is where it usually gets stuck and I have to do a hard reset with the power button.

Any help would be appreciated, I am so baffled.
