cannot install any antivirus, possible error 1317 problem?

Hello,

please help me with solution of problem on friend PC.
He was doing something and now Im not able to install any antivirus. I did registry clean up, did not helped, I checked permissions of disk, set full to everyone did not helped, run MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2005 RUNTIME LIBRARIES - it did not finished, I got error 1317.

I tried to install this Antivirus programs:

Nod32, AVG, Avast.

OS: Win XP Professional

A few quick questions:

1. You tried to install all three of those antivirus programs, and each gave you the same symptoms?

2. When setting permissions, did you also enable the 'Replace Permissions on Subdirectories' option?

3. Please clarify the 'He was doing something and now Im not able to install any antivirus' statement.

1.: Nod 32: problem with kernel, AVG: it did not start after installation, Avast the same
2.: I use this: I go to Manage- disk C: -Security - Everyone - full then in Win Explorer I set simply sharing
3. I do not realy knows what happened, he is not very skilled and is simply playing on PC with everything
