Cannot install XP SP2

    I had an issue with my laptop and had to reinstall Windows XP. Now when I try to upgrade to service pack 2 it just hangs on 'checking Product Key". Its a valid (not Stolen) key. Now when I take the same CD and install XP on another laptop I have and upgrade to SP2 it works fine, just not on mine! I have no idea why. Its a Dell D610. Anyone ever seen this?
