    Hallo

In device manager, under non plug and play, the adfs driver is marked yellow. I have reported it many times to microsoft, but as yet there is no solution. This is the message I get :

Non plug and play driver adfs :

This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

I cannot seem to find much online about this driver. Be grateful for any suggestions.

Other than the yellow exclamation point in the Device Manager, have you had any problems relating to this driver? Are there any issues with system functionality that are being caused by this driver? Also, it seems that you are using the "Show hidden devices" option. I also have a yellow ! in the hidden devices list for a device called "ntiomin" but my PC works perfectly. I think in my situation it is left over from some burning software I uninstalled, or possibly a virtual CD drive program I uninstalled. If the 'missing' driver doesn't seem to cause any problems, I personally wouldn't worry about it too much, but in the meantime, I will look into it a bit more for you just to see what I can find....

Uninstall it and reboot, check in Device Mangler again ;)

Is this just a leftover from an Adobe uninstall?

    Which OS/SP are you using?

    Hi

Thank you both for replying. I had installed Vista SP2 yesterday, but had this driver prior to that.

I uninstalled it and got a message that stated that I had found a bug in Comodo, and to report it. I rebooted and up came another 11 drivers with the yellow mark. I have been having other driver problems as well.

I had also posted in the software forum about a boot problem. A reply about my boot problem, suspects that I may still have some malware, so I am going back there.

Thanks so much for your help, as that adfs driver may have been what was behind a problem I have installing the full Comodo internet security package!:)

i mean installing logmein soft installed logmeinkernel device driver and so for adobe the adfs..
when uninstalled logmein software, then adfs, logmeinkernel device drivers got warning symbols
as nolonger logmein device driver is needed, i uninstalled its driver.
    then wrng on adfs ended.
So, i gues some other driver might be blocking it during jan - june 2009
