This is a quick note to Jim and Tim who have been working with me by e-mail because I was unable to logon to this site. Not ten minutes ago I tried again to logon and couldn't. I decided to bypass the AOL browser and go right to the Explorer browser to see if it was my software, or something to do with AOL. Guess what? With Explorer minus the AOL face I can get on. Now, anyone know what I should do about it? It is obviously the AOL software that is the problem. Next time someone has this problem, ask if they are on AOL, and if they are, tell them to bring up Explorer alone and try.

Cool, just sent you a email suggesting you try FireFox. I am getting a lot of these lately and I think it is AOL software cookie blocking.

Well, I just spent most of a day and part, running various AOL autofixes and looking for ways to resolve this issue, but, I guess it is time I look into other browsers, even though when I discovered this problem, that was the last thing on my mind.

As near as I can figure, AOL has recently sent out a software update and has messed their software up.I was suprised to get it scince it had been so long scince they had issued any updates, and couldn't really see any reason for one, but you can't really refuse them that I know of, nor can you uninstall them, as far as I can tell. Guess they never heard "if it ain't broke don't fix it.". Now I can't access websites with the vbulletin logo on their logon programming.

I think I will set my Explorer browser as my default now, and check into some of the other browsers such as FireFox. I hear tell it is very good and much more secure than Explorer. Opinions are welcome.

Thanks T and J for your time, and I have another unrelated question to ask, that started me on this road of discovery. Need another link though. Thanks again.:)

Just wanted to let you know, that I have spent today working on trying to resolve the logon problem with the AOL Browser.

I went through and checked all of my settings, and changed some things but still am unable to logon to MG's with the AOL Browser, though I can log on with literally every other browser I have tried. Also, Someone over at Tech Support Forum who is on AOL, came over here and had no trouble logging on here.

I did go over to Tech Support Forum and logon and post with the AOL Browser there. But cannot do it here. It seems it is a problem with both my software and yours. Something in your system is blocking my AOL browser from logging on because of something about My AOL browser that has changed. Anyone have any ideas? I would like to find the answer scince this seems to be somewhat selective in it's blocking.

What is it that is different and has changed in my AOL Browser that I can no longer log on to your website unless I use some other browser? I am using Explorer right now, but I have three others that work fine.
