Cannot play RMVB files please help.

    Hey, I am not sure if this is the correct forum for my problem so i apologize. My problem is that i recently downloaded a RMVB file. I also downloaded the codec necessary to play RMVB files. However, upon playing the file, all i get is a black screen with sound. Could someone please tell me how to fix this problem so i can view it.
