Cannot print from internet?

This person has a Hp photosmart c3180 and an hp pavilion a6028x pc running windows vista. Now the problem is that it will print from anywhere except the internet when you try it says

An error has occured in the script on this page

Error: Library not registered
code: 0
URL: res//ieframe.dll/preview.dlg

What can be causing this error and how do i fix it?

 

Go to control panel and click on printer, after you see your printer, right click and check use printer online. ed

 

Maybe you need java installed for it to print from the internet? plus the url it is printing from looks funny res//ieframe.dll/preview.dlg looks like a possible print preview file? i am not postitive though im still stidying this stuff in college, maybe try a control+P from the keyboard and not try previewing the print first. Also the library not registered error got my attention, is it only that site you can not print from or all of the websites on the net?

 

If use printer online does not help, or latest java? - you may want to try to reset Internet Explorer security settings.
If no joy, create a new user profile with admin rights.
Curious - are you using IE7 or 8?
Don't know if it would make a difference.
If all else fails, you may try to printing to pdf - using Cute PDF - not sure if that would throw up the error using Internet Explorer.

I would assume Firefox would give you the same error, may also be something to try.
