I have followed the instructions posted on your site: 'How to: Spyware, Trojan and Virus Removal'. I had many problems that have been corrected; however, I am unable to remove AOL from my startup. I also have so many protections now running that Win98 startup is especially slow. I am using McAfee, SpamPal (considering removal - added to protect problems with AOL), ZoneAlarm, and AVG (added after following their instructions to clean an infected computer). I understand I am vulnerable running an old machine (Pentium with 96 Ram). Would like your help accessing current state and ongoing suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Run one AV program, uninstall either McAfee or AVG. If you don't need SpamPal uninstall it. You may want to consider Mozilla Thunderbird as your email client. You may also consider increasing the amount of system RAM if your compuer can handle more.
