Cant access belkin router IP

Hi, I have a hp laptop running XP connected through a belkin router to a hughes net modem. A couple weeks ago i was playing around with the setting of my router (ip 192.168.2.1) and i think i set it as an access point...i think...yes i was playing where i shouldnt have been..but hey i have to learn somehow! Anyways i don't totally remember what ensued but i cant access my routers configuration page anymore. I did a factory reset and no go. I have tried the ip address and routers software to access it and still no go. I called belken which wanted to charge me for tech support but at least gave the info that my hughes modem was now supplying my routers gateway which after doing ipconfig/all yes the default gateway and DHCP are the same and not what the routers default gateway is. From here i don't know where to go...how can i get my router to be a router again so i can access it's config page. my internet is working fine i just can't access my router. what should i do? oh...i have a bit of computer know how but bad with terminology so step by step and laymens terms would be greatly appreciated!! thanks all!!!

Default Gateway..............100.105.20.209
dhcp server....................100.105.20.209
DNS server.....................192.168.0.1

the dns takes me to my modem setup. but cant get to the router setup.

PS: not connected at all with the issue but i just reloaded hp so very fresh not yet updated version of xp home at the moment! also have macbook using router.

 

Thanks for the reset link...it was a different reset procedure then i had found on other searches and it worked!!! who'd a thunk it Thanks again...problem solved!!
